What we collect
For the main survey we collect only your answers to the questions shown, together with a randomly generated response identifier, the questionnaire version, and timestamps for when the response was started and completed. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, account number, balances, or any other banking details.
How responses are reported
Responses are analysed and reported in aggregate. Individual open-text answers may be read by the research team and, where relevant, quoted in a form that does not identify the respondent. Because responses are submitted over the internet, we do not describe them as fully anonymous; we describe them as not directly identifying, collected without contact details, and reported in aggregate.
Follow-up interviews
If you volunteer for a confidential follow-up conversation, your name and preferred contact method are stored in a separate record. That record is not linked to your survey answers, and we cannot match the two.
Data minimisation
We do not collect IP addresses or device identifiers as survey variables, and we do not ask for information beyond what is needed to interpret the results. Optional questions include a “prefer not to say” option where appropriate.
Voluntary participation
Participation is voluntary. You may stop at any point by closing the page. Partially completed responses may be retained and marked as incomplete.
